About Mitch
J. Mitchell Joyner (Mitch) is a life long Alaskan. After graduating Service High School in Anchorage he attended the University of Puget Sound, graduating in 1980. He then attended Seattle University School of Law, graduating in 1983. Admitted to the Alaska Bar in 1984 he worked as an associate for the firm Smith Coe and Patterson. In 1988 he became a partner in Mitchell Joyner. Mitch now specializes in all injury cases, debtor bankruptcy, and criminal cases. Mitch is a long standing member of the Alaska Trial Lawyers Association. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, District of Alaska, U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
Mitch lives in Eagle River with his wife Rhonda and three children. Mitch is an avid flyer and sportsman. He is hold a commercial, instrument and multi-engine ratings from the FAA. He is a member of the Alaska Airman's Association and the Commemorative Air Force.
